A Clean Cellphone

I am working the morning shift this week at the radio station while one of my coworkers takes a vacation, so instead of getting up at 9 or 10 in the morning everyday, I am rising at about 430 am. With that in mind, I was rushing around last night to do some laundry so I could get to bed. I shoved some laundry in the washing machine and turned it on...then 15 minutes later, I couldn't locate my cellphone and yes, you guessed it, it was still in my pocket, submerged in the washing machine.
I was truly bummed when I pulled the dripping phone from the machine and of course there was no way it would work. Before I went to bed, I blew dry my now spotless phone and it still wouldn't work. Then I placed it on an airconditiong vent and slept for about four hours in an effort that I thought would be futile. This morning, I thought I would give it one last try, so I put the battery back in the phone...and it turned on. Unbelievable! There is still some water behind the screen but it amazes me that the thing actually fired back up. Motorola makes a good cellphone!!!!!
Lesson Learned....always check your pockets before doing laundry.

That is amazing considering it's not the first time that phone has been soaked in some form or other. Yay for working cell phones!
